Costa Rica's Nicoya Peninsula is one of the five Blue Zones in the World
The average American could live an extra 12 years and be 40% happier by optimizing their lifestyle and environment. These environments are called blue zones which are places in the world where people live longer and healthier than anywhere else on earth. The people who live in these blue zones are living very healthy lives and living to 90 or even 100 years old. So far there are five blue zones that have been discovered in the world today.
The five blue zones are:
- Costa Rica’s isolated Nicoya Peninsula
- The Italian island of Sardinia
- Okinawa, Japan
- Loma Linda, California
- Ikaria, an isolated Greek island
